This pattern is quite a treat, inspired by both the “Sunday Brunch” fabric collection by BasicGrey and the traditional sweet breakfast bun! Fabrics are organized into a colorwash, creating a soft shift from red to yellow-orange to blue, using cream Half-Square Triangles to transition the colors. The blocks are simple to stitch together, using four elongated hexagons to form a cross, and four half-square triangles to finish the square. There is plenty of room in the negative space to let your quilting shine!
